Toronto trumpeter David Buchbinder blows into NYC for a 5-night Residency at The Stone, John Zorn's iconic venue for creative music. The multiple award-winner (including a JUNO, Canada's Grammy) has gathered together 5 ensembles mixing top NYC and Toronto players representing a wide range of genres. Buchbinder's music incorporates sounds from contemporary jazz to music of the Jewish, Roma and Cuban worlds, with a healthy influence of the European Art and film music traditions. 

Now at its new home at the New School at 55 W13th St., the Stone is an intimate venue where composer/players have the unique opportunity over the length of the Residency to showcase many of their musical passions.
