In partnership with the Western Front, NOW offers this workshop series each fall to musicians at all levels of ability in the varied techniques of improvised music. For the first eight weeks, artists from Vancouver and from around the world bring their own unique perspectives to spontaneous music creation. The workshops will be followed by a rehearsal, and a performance at the Western Front on December 8. There will be roughly 15 participants in each workshop, with a wide range of instruments. All workshops are open to observers.

Participants in NOW workshops are encouraged to become NOW members ($5/year).
